Interview with UOB students
What are your expectations for this year’s business
symposium?
I think this year’s symposium will be an instant success,
and I think it will attract those who are interested in business and economics.
Farah Khalil
I expect this year’s symposium to be a success like the
previous years, and hopefully to an even greater extent.
Khalid Buhindi
Do you find the topics that are to be discussed suitable
for the present moment?
Yes, because it is parallel to the current economic crisis.
The topics chosen will benefit the students and all the participants generally
and also help in raising students’ awareness regarding these issues.
Ali Malallah
I do think the topics are suitable because it is
corresponding to what is happening in the world, especially the most recent Dubai financial crisis. I
think the symposium will shed light on potential solutions and ways to prevent
such crises.
Mariam Ateeq
As a student, what do you think of the goals of the
symposium?
I find the goals accurate because they included the most
important issues economically, and also it aims to encourage the participation
and motivate discussions
Farah Khalil
The goals of this symposium have a longterm vision in which
it highlights what would happen to our future economy, since one of the topics
that is to be discussed in the Vision2030, which is what mostly attracted
students to participate.
Mariam Ateeq
As a
student, do you find the timing of the symposium convenient?
I don’t
find the timing very convenient because it conflicts with the upcoming exams.
Mohammed Ahmed
Yes, I do find the
timing convenient, and I hope everyone, especially the Business &
Administration students, would be able to join this event.
